Over a decade of crafting collector pieces the world wants to own.
It started with an obsession.
A love of pop art. A fascination with electroplating. And a belief that the most iconic characters in the world deserved a finish worthy of their status.
From our base in Cheshire, we began listing sculptures on eBay in 2011 — no fanfare, no launch campaign, just extraordinary pieces finding their way to collectors who appreciated them. Word spread. Orders came in from across the UK, then Europe, then worldwide.
Fourteen years on, what started as a passion has grown into something we are genuinely proud of. A small, dedicated studio team of five — each one as obsessed with the finish as the next. In 2025 we expanded onto Etsy, bringing Gilded Icons to an even wider community of collectors and art lovers. And now, with the launch of gildedicons.com, we finally have a home that matches the ambition of the pieces we create.
The rebrand was a long time coming. After years of doing everything in-house, we brought in a graphic designer to help us build something that truly reflected who we are — a luxury collector's brand with craft, character and fourteen years of expertise behind every piece.
The obsession hasn't changed. It never will.
